Cool quick test. One suggestion when you are finalizing your render, if you do a close up you can turn up the SubD level for the character to 2. This will smooth out the geometry in the shoulder and make things look more convincing. I tend to always turn the character to 2 levels of subd for the final render because I show off a lot of skin and the extra geometry helps keep things looking natural.

For example in the portrait you can see what I mean, the full body shot its not a problem.
Thanks for your advice

I'm very new to Octane Render, there are so many things to learn :geek:

Some quck 1000px renders :D

How to get better render result for eyes

Not my very first render (to horrible to show off) but the first renders which I consider ok with the OcDS.

I updated my avatar today. Who says you can't render stylized stuff with Octane :)

The background, the depth of field and the light looks like a photograph.
Thanks! I know the style isn't for everyone, but I can't worry about everyone :)

I originally started with Unbiased rendering to challenge myself with more realistic works. But once I have practice with the tools I see how I can use them to do more stylized works.

Some argue I should not use Octane for stuff like that, but I've got better control over the results with Octane than other options. That and to have raytracing and such on when using a CPU renderer that render would have taken like 20+ hours on my computer... Also, I like going against the grain :)
