Another test with 2.12, looks like the renders are getting just a little bit faster for the 980.

@smicha I used your lay-out hope you don't mind =D
Damn you are pushing your 780 very hard, how many mhz are they running? They are almost preforming as good as my overlocked 780 TI's. Which is very nice.

Great scores!

BTW 5x780ti are 14400 cuda cores vs mine rig has 9600 cuda cores (you have exactly 50% more of cuda cores) and performance is 31% faster. Potential room for overclocking :)

Do you use raisers? Or it is via network?

These scores are at 1228mhz on core and 7006 mhz on mem (and 40C temps.). But they go even up to 1300 mhz on core on stock volts.

Glimpse,

Since yesterday you've made me thinking about getting a STH10/SMH10 additional pedestal, put additional 2x560 rad there and go with 4x water-cooled Titans Z :) I have just enough room for a second 1500 W PSU. So pity there is no budget for it now. But next year ... :)

Its one computer with risers, I posted it a couple of month's ago (http://render.otoy.com/forum/viewtopic. ... &start=390).

I never tried to go past 1160mhz core and 7000 mhz for the memory.
Specially in the summer they can get around 65 degrees, at the moment they will hit 48 degrees at the max (its autumn here).

can you run a bench on one 780 watercooled? to compare against one 780 Ti aircooled?

780 ti aircooled at 1150mhz DL (no alpha shadows) 45.23 Ms/sec

Edit: does memory speed effect the performance?
