I don't use Softimage but it occurs to me that this could be the answer to Animation in octane for all of the plug ins.

Run the animation in your 3D software.That is linked in turn to Octane which renders up each frame at a time.

No more import of each frame , voxalise it and then render of that frame.

It would save a heap of time on animations.

Or am I talking rubbish. :shock:

Theoretical that is right, but without a green light from RS, it will never go public.
Its only a tech preview, not more, not less...

Thanks for the info.At least it looks like a possible way forward.

Have you shown it to Radiance yet,see what he thinks ?

Can you add a radio button for render in the background option? I saw it was supported by commandline, but well :)
