ok i deleted everything out of the scen and it works fine. what does this mean
Did you try ticking the Motion Blur button? You could also try changing the "Allow scale cameras" in the config. If you send me the simplest scene which demonstrates this problem I will take a closer look.

This is fixed in the next release. It happens if cancelling the animation by closing the Viewport.

If I open the scene you posted and click "Render Animation", the camera moves through the scene. It looks OK to me.

If I open the scene you posted and render the animation, it renders to png, with each png having the camera moved slightly each frame. So it appears to be working correctly.

okay i solved the problem. I started a new scene and exported the rendertarget. then i open the one i was working on and imported that rendertarget i just saved. so Is there a setting in the rendertarget that would stop the camera from animating.

I would have thought if there was a rendertarget issue - I would get it too when rendering that scene. I cannot think of any rendertarget setting that would stop the camera from animating - sorry. I cannot explain this - but good to hear you have a workaround.

# - Added configuration option to force Octane to calculate the normals for the entire scene. This is partially implemented, and 0 = use Poser normals, and <> 0 = use the smoothing angle set in Octane Standalone

Hi Paul,
The reason why my Octane renders were ending up with some objects faceted was because the Octane plugin's "smooth" option in the respective materials was set to "false". I have done some testing, and the Poser smoothing settings for the particular models have no effect on this setting. So whenever something renders faceted in Octane, I have to go through the all the materials one-by-one and change the "smooth" setting to "true".

You said there is a configuration option to set this globally, but I could not find it in the plugin, the OctaneDefaults.py, and in the plugin's PDF documentation. I have searched the PDF for "Poser Normals", or just "normals", and I only found the "smooth" option for the individual materials. Where can I find the option that affects the global smoothing settings?
