Ambient occlusion? diffuse bounces?
check it with 1.2
In 1.25 I don't see any visible improvement in speed/quality/noise except for the decal mapping feature
I miss the stereoscopic feature and motion blur.

I confirm that the 1.25 release is slight slower than the 1.18 (1.20)

Also the material on curtains have an issue:
The material is a mix between diffuse and glossy. Fall off is on the diffuse slots for both mats. On the glossy mat the reflection is generated by a marble procedural.

Hi Karba

in the material conversion process (scanline standard material => Octane material), is there a way to convert real world scale to something understandable for octane?

3dsmax plugin can do only the things Octane can.

Hi all.

I have installed 1.25 for max 2014. and opened a file which was made in 1.20 and tried to render, render is not done and max gets closed without any error message...

I have not instaled the latest verson of standalone ( it is 1.20)
Any Comments to resolve this issue???

Thanks..

offset camera & stitch images. that's the only way to work around for now =)

I will take the same amount of time as You would spend rendering that bigger image at once
(but You can do that now for technical reasons), You just have a bit of photoshop work =)
