Hi Jimstar,

would it be possible to expose the scale (UV) attribute of the textures nodes in the channel box? It would help a great deal the texturing, as we could raise and lower several attributes at the same time in the channel box, which is not possible in the attribute editor. I don't know how complicated this would be, but it would be convenient to have the same attributes of all the texture nodes enabled in the channel box as they appear in the attribute editor.

Hatak - your graph is displaying -40 to 40 in the y axis, your power is 40,000 so your key frame is 'high' above where the graph UI is, what happens when you activate the graph editor and hit the 'F' key to frame the key frame within the UI? - I just tested it and it shows on my computer - Do not forget to find where the key frame should be....

Hi Jimstar, I know I keep posting every little problem I encounter with octane. Please forgive me lol, better to say it I guess.

I am trying to load a very large EXR image sequence (6400*2560) for matte painting and maya crashes as soon as I load it in my diffuse Image Texture. Other renderers / standard shaders do fine. Cheers!

p.s. The exr is in the "name.####.exr" convention.

Sorry JimStar I posted this in general instead of here

I am sorry if this has been covered... When I render out in Maya Batch I get four frames (out of 250) then batch stops.
I get no script errors... any ideas

Follow up to this question...

I have another post regarding cards dropping out in the stand-alone when rendering. When this happens in the stand-alone it occurs usually after 4-5 minutes of rendering I will get a display driver issue then one of the cards will just cut out. Another 7 minutes in another one will go etc. Most often 4 of the 6 will stay... sometimes I can even get down to one card.

When I do the maya batch it will kick out after 5-10 minutes regularly sometimes doing 3 frames sometimes 4-5.

Could that be related... i.e. if a card fails does the batch render fail also?

Thanks

Peter

Please enable Octane verbose mode, and after getting this issue give me this log file: c:\Users\<user>\Documents\maya\mayaRenderLog.txt
