It happens only on OS X. See the screencapture in my post.
Basically, if LV is running, when node editor is open existing nodes are disconnected.
I tried to remove other plugins and prefs to see if it's something else but didn't help.
Like I said it works fine on 2.24.1 R3.

Can anyone give me a confirmation as to whether this latest TEST5.2 is stable and safe enough to use for production over 2.24.1? I'd like to get all these improvements, but it still says "TEST" version. I have not used any of the 2.24.2 test versions yet.

Propably I'll replace the current stable version with next build of this version. Of course nobody deny for this.

I have been using the latest test versions, starting around TEST3 as I recall, in real-world production with no major problems at all. TEST4.2 (Mac) was fine; I just updated to 5.2 today so I have no experience to report other than initially it seems fine. I always keep the last reliable version around of course in case something goes wrong with an update -- but Ahmet is VERY good at this and has been putting out reliable updates for a few weeks now.

Hi Ahmet,

I have big trouble using the latest build. It freezes nearly every 5 minutes and I need to kill Cinema with the task manager. This happens if LV is active and I do changes to something. I tried R16 and R17 versions with same results.
Attached the scene that causes the trouble. Maybe you can have a look into it.

Hi Aoktar,

I am on 2.24.2 Test 5.2 and pugin works fine but I don't see anymore PASS schedule on Settings. Is PASS hidden or missing?

No. I removed it and we are using passes from render settings. They are affecting also LV.

Hi Aoktar,

I have encountered a problem on Layers when in LV I Edit in Standalone the scene. All the Layer tag of C4D will be lost on the process.
As I select the Object layer node on graph editor or I try to pick the objects to assign the object layer node I see that the name of object is a stange sequence of characters and the node is empty.
May be a bug.

We really like this update but it seems that displacement seems to create some problems in the geometry.
Below is a just a simple noise in the displacement channel on a sphere.
