Version 2.24.2-TEST6 - Test only

Thanks for the quick fix Ahmet!
Transformation of grouped objects in scatter object is still incorrect but they look correct when coordinates are reset to zero.
Workarround is to use a connect object instead of Null or avoid objects with hierarchy for now.
There's definitely a problem with node editor on OSX. I attached a screencap and _bugreport.zip.
Nodes appear disconnected when LV is 'live' and it crashes when they are deleted.
Also Time limit option in render settings doesn't seem to be working on both Windows and Mac.
Regards

So i'm hoping a public version will come when it's ready. Here is a few SS for seeing what's going on. Statistics currently are working wrong, so don't mind the displayed render times.Weezer wrote:This is looking really good Ahmet. Rendering so many X-Particles in realtime is amazing – I love the Scatter and Particles example files too. Really shows what Octane can do!
I assume you're fixing and polishing the 2.24 release – then what's after that? Does work begin on 3.0? Or 2.3x?

Hi Aoktar,
I think there is a bug on Material node, please see the "invert" option on specular node on material, if I check or uncheck "invert" the render image doesn't change. You can observe also that the miniature of material change, but not the image in LV.
The problem will be also on Standalone if edit in standalone from LV I have tried a new scene with an imported obj, the material and all parameters in the scene are the same, as I paste the material created on indipendent session of Standalone in scene generated from LV the material change aspect of rendered image. It seam that the problem was been exported.
plugin 2.24.1 R3 works regularly

I am getting the same issue. Invert image texture doesn't seem to be working.
Loving the scatter object so far, below is a first test. Although the distribution shader didn't work for me, perhaps the geometry I am using has bad normals/UV or something? Attached below a simplified scene file with my crappy attempt at snow

It's fine here. Any scene to show the issue?augdalmo wrote:Hi Aoktar,
