Paul is something wrong with colors in the daz octane build? in the metallic material, changing the diffuse color does nothing. Also when using the glossy material, the colors in the specular channel almost seem inverted.

Colors are OK for me. Can you provide a simple scene with a sphere with demonstrates this problem please?

Thanks

Paul

I just realized I had another color active in the node that was making it look weird. Problem solved!

The Octane "Image Tiles" node is not currently supported by the DAZStudio plugin.

Is it possible to add support for it or is it something that can’t be done due to restrictions in daz studio?

It is doable - but something that would take some time to develop, since additional dialogs would need to be coded to allow the user to define the filename for each tile.

It would be nice to have it. That would allow us to build the entire skin shader in a single material. I’ve been able to do it in standalone and Houdini. Since the daz uv layout for the characters is essentially a udim layout and the maps for various body parts just need to added to their specific uv tile.
