OctaneRender® 1.0 beta2.46 [OBSOLETE]
(about previous post) You need to see the mat list at all times??? I think a contextual menu could just pop up when you drop a node connection into another node, letting you choose the channel, material slot or whatever.

Yes. It would be cool if it was a list box (or equal) where more than one can be selected. Imagine making a great new material and cntrl dragging (just my suggestion) the node to the object and being able to select a huge number of objects at one time and have them all be hooked up.

Thanks a lot.abstrax wrote:The ZIP archives, too.
My initial tests seem to show that the memory leak (when using alpha) is still there. It would be highly appreciated if you could squash this bug in the next release. I use alpha all the time and Octane eats up memory pretty quickly with this bug.
Yes, the problem is still there. I thought I had fixed this problem a while ago, but somehow it sneaked through the net...GeoPappas wrote: My initial tests seem to show that the memory leak (when using alpha) is still there. Tomorrow we will release a beta 2.46b, which fixes a few regressions of beta 2.46 plus the memory leak (as far as we can fix it). It will be in the commercial release forum and the demo version will be based on that version, too.
Cheers,

I've noticed that the sun power doesn't challenge my invisible lights powers...
And north offset works like a charm!
