Yeah a more active interface scene will be nice. I dont usually do any hardcore scenes, but if you have shiz load of nodes with an awesome render, please post it :D

done...
cornel was kind enough to provide a screen shot of the furry monster render on octane 2.46b...
now it looks better... :)

time to put more renders in the gallery..

about the error while uploading:
i got those uploading errors too...all i had to do is open the image in GIMP (or PS if you have)- and re-save it...and it worked...

man.... 10 images will simply rock.... 8-) 8-)

i had to upload the images under "Non-free 3D art"... and also had to provide "Non-free media use rationale" (had to actually fill the contents of the form-and provide description, source etc etc otherwise wikipedia would eventually delete it.. )

Just ask me when you want someone to check the grammar and spelling. I'm a bit of a grammar Nazi

Okay, I've read through. Here's some suggested changes:
1. Once you explain what "GPU" is an abbreviation of once, you don't need to do it again. You can omit the second time you've included it.
2. "...meaning that it utilizes only graphic cards that support..."; I suggest rephrasing that to "...meaning that it only utilizes graphic cards that support..."; It makes the sentence flow a little better.
3. "Octane render is the worlds first GPU based..."; "Worlds" needs to have an apostrophe between "d" and "s" for ownership. :)
4. In the second paragraph you repeat that Octane is GPU exclusive. I suggest rephrasing the sentence to something like "Octane runs exclusively on Nvidia's CUDA technology, meaning that it can only utilize graphics cards which support CUDA. ATI cards are currently not supported." Doing this makes it short 'n' sweet providing the information one would be looking for. It also means that the common question of "Can I run Octane on my ATI GPU?" gets answered. <- I recommend this over my second suggestion.

FYI I just cleaned it up quite a bit. Corrected some spelling/grammar/capitalization, added more wiki links, made things more concise.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Octane_render#Gallery

i was able to download the 12 renderings which you gave me from the megaupload link...which you collected after taking permissions from their respective authors...

just finished uploading all on the wikipedia gallery- man it was painful task
wiki upload is so buggy and slooooow.....

thanks to all who contributed to the wikipedia gallery---it rocks now.. 8-)
