Turns out i don't know where is JScript window :P
But i did some strands tests for the first time and i like what I'm seeing :D Very straightforward. Thanks to you i can render my graduation project entirely in Octane ;]

How did you get strands to work? See my above post.

Hey face, long time no see ;] I picked up Octane after a while and stumbled upon a thing i might have been used to, and now find it annoying. The thing is i can't abort rendering animation without aborting rendering every frame, which means you have to hold escape until Softimage finishes attempting to export each every one. Is there a chance you could implement an 'abort animation' functionality?

You can cancel the animation if you hit on cancel ;)
Sometimes it can be possible that the window is after the others. Alt+Tab can help then.

Well i think i used to do it this way, but it doesn't work now. It just cancels one frame. Unless i'm missing something. I'm on 2012 student edition now.

It doesnt work while your exporting your mesh to Octane. But if you let it export one frame and Octane open up, and hit cancel it works. Othervise it continue with the next frame trying to export that one, etc etc.

Thanks, pausing rendering in Octane and canceling in Softimage works like a charm. Sorry for the trouble face.
