Network rendering:

I don't see the rendernode from within Daz studio.

One thing is that the two versions have to be the same: I know I'm running the 2.06 version on the rendernode.
How can I check to see which version Daz studio is using?

Also: the network port of the master is 21000 and the network port of the slave is 2048. How can I set the network port of the slave?

I've had this working in the standalone before so I know it works.

I see NETWORK SETUP at the bottom of my screen but cant access it even though my monitor resolution 'should' be enough to squeeze it in! Is the NETWORK SETTINGS part meant to 'autofit' on to the screen?

Version 1.2 had a material missing issue, 1.5 the same and 2.0 I am waiting forever to have the rendering process started.
Octane standalone 2.0X installed and works fine. The poser plugin works fine as well. Win7 (GTX560)

@Masterstroke...

On the waiting forever thing... This happens to me if I have nothing in the scene. If I have something in the scene it renders just fine. Your screenshot looks like it's an empty scene, no?

Presuming he is attempting to render what is in the viewport behind all the windows open, there is a figure loaded, thus it would be an error. I am presuming you loaded a scene, which should cause an error, as t-3 stated in the last post of release (first page of this thread), that loading mats from .duf files is disabled. In the first post of this thread it specifically states that the current version is not functional in many aspects and to not report bugs, as many features are intentionally turned off or not complete yet. But your issue is probably that there are indeed no mats, as it will not load them from a .duf. Nor does it seem to like if you try to use the NGE, or many other random things. Probably why he mentioned it in the first post.

Edit: Even loading a base figure (which is a .duf) will not load mats. You would have to go into the materials tab and assign mats to all surfaces, as none will be linked to anything until you do so. This would also, logically, produce a missing mats error. Figured I should probably note that for information's sake.

Hm, it realy doesn't matter, what's in the scene , it just doesn't start rendering. I added a simple cube, to show that it cannot be an error in the model.

You should see the option there, with a price. You click to upgrade, voucher gets applied. Upgrade at no charge (assuming you haven't already used the voucher for a different plugin).

Thank you kindly. I just tried that now.
