Hi Erik,
so to recap, you are using Rhino for modelling and Octane Standalone for rendering, correct?
Could you share any simple obj object that give you issues?

Hi Beppe,
Yes, Rhino for modeling and/or converting the file(s) from .STL. and Octane as the Stand Alone.
I can open downloaded scenes in Octane and they display everything that is intended. However, when I bring my own .OBJ into the program by right clicking in the Graph Editor area I roll over Geometry and select Mesh, but it will not display the .OBJ. It does not matter which .OBJ I select, whether it's my own converted from .STL to .OBJ, or if I load a model purchased from Video Copilot for their Element 3D plugin for After Effects. I even created a simple sphere in Rhino, exporting it out as a >OBJ, and received the File Load Error message.
I've attached .OBJ regardless.
I really hope it's me doing something wrong, and something I've overlooked.
Thanks for your continued help regarding this.

Hi Erik,
Octane works in meter, so , if your mesh has a different scale, you have to change the setting in the mesh preference pane. Here is what I get with the scale set to millimeter: and here is the scene with your obj: happy rendering

Thank you Beppe! It worked.
Now I have another question, but will have to start another post about 'how to export a .mtl file, or something like it to accompany my .objs, so I can bring them into AfterEffects plugin Element 3D and make video footage'.
Thanks for your help.
Regards,
Erik
