Hair definitely works, do you have studio ?
But displacement channel is not there on materials. I also don't see anywhere to set the render bevel, which I guess should be in the material ?
It looks like all the updates are there but the material interface has not been updated. But anyway, for a first look its interesting.
I was getting displacement with the 'Earth' example scene but again, no interface in the material to change it.

yea it is, only one of the scenes though iirc.. the rest are Ok!

Yeah of course , i got the hairs but only the numbers of guides not the numbers of hair ,for the rastaman scene i got weird multicolor hair not frizz not really rastafari stuff

Sorry for confusing. It's result of very quick action. I see the resources part is from 1.50 in installer.
This is the problem that causes same interface for materials and tags.

Great stuff, having fun with the motion blur and Displacement is AWESOME !

Currently hair only works as it should in the viewport and the Picture Viewer but not in the Live Viewer window

even this new build wont run for me, as soon as I add a material it hangs cinema, if I add a scene nothing renders
