Hi face_off,
The Archicad plugin is build against Octane 1.28.
Is it safest to use 1.28 or is it better to use a higher version of Octane (1.29 up to 1.33 is the newest now)?

Hello Paul
I just managed to export without any issue a huge teamwork project - 60000sqm with high bim detail (hvac,plumbing,tiles...all). It produced a 895Mb obj. I was thinking it will kill my gtx780. I am able to render this monster both in OR for Archicad (b 1.33) and in standalone with no trouble (except the waiting time for material conversion...preety big list there). I am a little frustrated that i am not allowed to share the results. In the past months it was hectic here and little time to play around rendering, now feels good to be back. BTW older builds of OR for Archicad, on this particular project (3Gb pln plus modules) 50% of times crashed before finishing material conversion. This build so far didn't, and worked flawless.
Thanks Flavius - yes, the older version of the plugin was not handling some of the ArchiCAD events correctly - which caused a crash. But the latest version here fixes that.
I have refreshed the installers at the top of this thread with:
1.37.0.10
- Built against Octane 1.37
- Export to ORBX format is now available from the Export button
- Fixed issue with the previous build which caused rendertargets to not be loaded with batch rendering
