Alt + LMB = Rotate
Alt + MMB = Pan
Alt + RMB = Zoom
or
1 + LMB = Pan
2 + LMB = Zoom
3 + LMB = Rotate
so it's the same for Lightwave, Maya XSI and C4D if I'm not mistaken, well that's something we got common

I didn't even know that the 1 2 3 + LMB can be used but just tried it now it works ok, but anyway to confirm it alt + all mouse buttons is probably what most of us are using so use that
Anyway I use scroll for zooming and only sometimes alt + RMB for fine tuning if I have to, how about others.. but that's pretty close to what octane already has for navigation I caught on octanes controls pretty quickly - this customization just add more convenience so nice.
The only thing I can't figure out is what happens with the camera in octane, in c4d if you click on a object you rotate around it, and I figured that out pretty quickly, in octane it's like a weird trackball type rotation, I can't figure out what is the center point about which to navigate, and sometimes it's just nice and clean to move around..
