Is there a way to apply random texture, as well as in s.a. ?
Thank you

You add a gradient. In the gradient you add a random color as amount. Colors in the gradient define de range of random colors.lucioing wrote:Hi Ahmet!

As usual with Octane, you may mix different nodes. By sample, you may add a gradient to the power of a ImageTexture with a random color as amount. You may also test with a color correction node, a gradient (with random color as amount) in the Brightness node and another gradient (with random color as amount) in the power of the texture. You may also use a mixTexture with a random color as amount and two colors or two ImageTextures. And you may insert this mixTexture inside a color correction node with a gradient (with random color as amount) in the Brightness node... etclucioing wrote:Thank you atome!
Do you think I could do the same using pictures?
I'm thinking of a tree and its foliage...

Meshes which has unconstant amount vertices, it would give this message when you try to produce object vertex motion blur. Octane does not support vertex motion blur on these situations.shawnfrueh wrote:getting this in the console "Buffer overflow on animated vertexs" Is there a limit to how many object tags we can have?
thx, checkingmomade wrote:In 2.02 im facing the problem, that lights with c4d gradients in the distribution dont work. before this was fine..
