Enable particle engine: this generates some particles without using any geometry. Pls disable this.

it should be related with high gpu usages. How many gpu which are installed on mac? Please keep priority option is enabled for viewport. And set to LOW.Weirdpictures wrote:Hey Aoktar,
thanks for the quick reply. No, this has nothing to do with motion blur, but on mac, since version 2 we are encountering weird freezes of the cinema GUI when we open the octane render view. It only appears when we open the 4 split windows, not if we open just the one camera view. The windows don't refresh anymore and everything you do in the cinema view windows, doesn't get feedback or updates. I will record a video when i am back at my machine and email it to you , so you see what i am talking about. But besides this the mac version runs very good. All the dynamics and Mblur work flawless, also the displacement is great.

And have the settings to low and priority turned on for 580. Was always fine before. Maybe we should update to 10.9.4 it seems osx 10.9.3 has broken a lot of open gl stuff.
Everything was working fine before though.
