I think you can't use preview and final render at same time. It's not a bug.

I'm new to blender, moving from Maya, anyone knows how to solve this issue?

HEy J.C I thought it is obvious from the image attached. The problem is that the Boolean output with the noise displaced sphere gives out a clean cut like there is no displace node there. But in Live view it is working perfectly.

Are you using Modifiers? If so please check if modifier is marked for rendering – camera icon next to modifier's name.

Hey J.C thanks for reply, I actually figured it out, it is the modifier stack as you mention, needs to be enabled for rendering. ;-) Thanks!

There's an issue that needs to be solved which actually isn't allowing the Denoiser Beauty pass to work properly when the Denoiser Beauty pass itself is used as Preview Pass.
It will be fixed soon.

Where I can find Vectron scripts? There isn't any that come with octane for blender in this free tier.

New Octane for Blender Free Tier build is now available (and is awesome):

This is a TEST version, so be prepared to have some issues. Do not use it for production.

    Support Octane VDB animation(same as 18.x)
    Add converters for converting Cycles Principled BSDF to Octane Universal Material
    The converter can be found under "Material-Converters-Convert To Octane Materials"
