Alright, just managed to capture the bug on video.
Obviously it is required to have loaded the light, have it change its position by clicking on geometry present in the scene and THEN change a value after which the bug jumps to the top of the scene.
If you just load a light into your scene and change any of its values, the bug won't show.
You can see it in the attachment.
Shitty quality - I know, but I guess you get the idea.
PS: When I move the cursor out of the screen I change the cursor type from material picker to normal.

Thanks for everyone's help on the HDR Light Studio issue. I'm now been able to reproduce the problem, and have escalated it to Lightmap.

Hi Paul, I wonder if I could have an enhancement request, if possible.
I currently have three graphics cards on my motherboard . One is a NVIDIA GTX 780 TI 3meg
the other is a GTX 780 six meg and the third is a GTX 660 ti also three meg.
the problem currently lies . It always seems to load the three meg version never the six meg.
Fortune I can just remove the card. Where is a move it up a slot because of the motherboard configuration.
I'm sure that other people will have this issue. At some point. It is a rare issue. I admit
But I can simply go buy another 6 meg cards. Because I'm simply not made of money
Wonder if you could put in some kind of checking routine that would take the highest memory
first so would ignore the three meg cards can go with the master 6meg card , if that makes sense?

Chopper - turn off the 2 3GB cards in the plugin Devices tab, then click the Apply button. Then you can load a 6GB scene into you 6GB card.

Unfortunately not.
Always seems to default to 3 meg.
This is the process I use as I want to use all three cards.
First, only select the GTX 780 6 meg card
press apply open viewport (great works with six meg running with six meg)
Tick boxes on the other two graphics cards.
Press apply and as soon as you apply it, it defaults to the three meg graphics card
You're fine if you only apply the GTX 780 by itself.
If if you add the other two graphics cards afterwards. It automatically defaults to the three meg graphics card.
It's almost if it takes the top graphics card first e.g. the GTX 780 TI, which is a three meg graphics card.

Chopper - that's the way Octane works - it will drop down to use the VRAM amount of the smallest card that is selected for rendering. So to use 6GB, just render on your 6GB card.

I'm still riding the tail of the HDRLS demo and I really like what I can do with it already, together with the Octane-Poser plug-in.
But what benefits do I get, when getting the full version of HDRLS?
I don't mean any of the technical ones, which I can access through the full version only (making a "production render" .. etc ...), or things that make an easier living.
I mean more like the quality of a render and such things.
I already can create a sophisticated light map within the demo, can access the created map and can take it out of HDRLS' temp folder for re-usage. Admitting, they're rather small, but does size really matter that much in this case (the final out come of a render)?
I really have no idea and not really a comparison.
Any advises, annotations or experiences on that here, please?
