There is no any specific issue in this build or recents. Are you checking in different scenes to be sure that's not specific to your scene/setup?KeeWe wrote:I don't know if it's a speciic problem with this relase but every interaction with c4d leads to a refreh of the render. Even just selecting another object in the object manager. Can anybody confirm this issue?

Thanks for the quick reply! Indeed, it's only in the 2 scenes I'm currently working on. Gonne investigate further and will come back to you. I just remebered someone having the same issue when interacting with lights.

It requires to have PSR motion blur support for hair nodes. But it's not implemented in the hair manager of plugin. It just exports the vertex animations not for the node movement at the moment. We haven't need that for typical hair geometries because they give the movement in vertex level.rleuchovius wrote:Hello, motionblur for octane hair on octaneTag behaves somewhat opposite as what you would expect when the camera and spline is parented by the same animated object.
Here is the scene file. Try render to picture viewer with the 2 different cameras.

Ahmet,
When you get a chance, could you please enable resolution dependent scaling on the Octane Network Preferences window? It's really tiny on my 4k monitors, and my old eyes aren't what they used to be.
Thanks!

ciao,

If I remeber correctly it was a thing in previous version: selecting a material in the material manager switched automatically to the corresponding material in the node editor. In this version you still have to click "get active material" again. Would it be possible to switch back to the other way?
edit: ok, just discovered thats what the option "auto laod material" in the settings tab does. I thought that means to load and calculate the materials when opening a scene. Maybe a clearer naming would be helpful? Otherwise, thanks for giving us the option .
