Greyscale bump maps still don't dont work at low scale.
The left of this image is a greyscale bump set at scale .010. The right is the same map just made into a normal set at scale .010.
The right is the expected output and what you will get in vray/redshift. The left is some garbled mess of pixels that doesn't even resemble the map.

We've changed the way bump maps work in 2023.1. Make sure the material compatibility mode is set to 2023.1 (latest), then use the new "bump height" pin to control the height. Your input texture power should be set to 1.sethRichardson wrote:Greyscale bump maps still don't dont work at low scale.

Looks like that solved that problem for me. Thank god, its plagued my bump maps for years at very small scale (mainly for macro product renders)
