I think I found a bug.
I created a scene with 2021.1.5. Now I am copying some geometry with shaders and pasting it on a new file using 2021.1.6 - not sure if this is the cause of the bug.
When I paste the content o the new scene, the geometry and shaders come in, but I can't find the shaders on the Material Manager. The other way around it works fine. I am on R21.207
Is there something I am missing? Never seen this happen before.

There is no issues with copy-paste object from different scene with materials. Materials are copied too. You should check that maybe you have them in different layer...

I will check what is going on with these files. There are no layers.

PS.: Found the problem: The "Q Material Filter" plugin was filtering some materials on Material Manager... and was weird because I checked and it and it wasn't active. After toggling its settings it fixed the view. So sorry for reporting this here.

This is strange!
After installing 2021.1.6-(R2) whatever project I load all my textures got changed.
F.e. a wood texture has in all image-texture-slots (Albedo, Spec, Normal etc.) suddenly a total different
image (a normal-map from a different plastic material) loaded.
Even the texture in my HDRI Env has this material loaded.
Any idear???

Hi Ahmet,
went back to R1 yesterday and today installed R2 again.
Same like yesterday. All materials changed the texture.
Please see screen for example.
All the ca. 50 materials in this scene now got this tree-texture applied even
material preview still showing the correct texture.
And this texture-change happens to all my other jobs/projects but with
another texturemap applied to all materials.
Again wneed to go back to R1
