I would recommend rendering inside Unreal, You can side load the ORBX inside the plugin. Send a link to the ORBX I'll check it out.

I found the issue. There are some weird shanannigans with windingorder, normals and exporting to ORBX.
The fix should be part of the next build. (Ill see if I can push a hotfix out this week).
In the mean time, it should be possible to get it to work after exporting by wiggeling the transforms on the distribution texture.

*Potentially exporting a single frame with the unreal sequencer might work, as it uses alembic/fbx as the geo format.

Thanks evolverinteractive, though it’s an integral part of our pipeline to go through Octane Standalone.

Thanks for finding the troublesome shenanigans Chris, and thanks for fixing. If you did release a hot fix next week, we would greatly appreciate it.

I’ll get my team to have a go with those temporary fixes and report here on the results.

Pushed out a new build for 4.26 with revamped lights. It should fix the export issue. Let me know if it works.

Hey Chris, our production line is based in UE4.25, any chance you could push a fix for that? Should have said that earlier, my apologies.

Ah, that is quite old. My build process is automated, so ill check if 4.25 still works.

What is keeping your from upgrading btw?
