Did some more tweaking.
Radiance gave me a few pointers and such :)
I'm going to add some interface pictures and such in the new 2.46, as well as other user renders i have a few in mind i just need to get there permission.
I also got rid of the history, i might wait till the final final release, and get some direct history from radiance when he has the time ;)

Still not sure where this mythical motion blur comes in. Maybe someone can prove me wrong by rendering an example. I'm pretty sure that it is a feature that has been asked for but due to techicnal reasons cannot be implemented. i.e. you would need more than one frame to create motion blur.

Hey,

Another thing that could spruce things up a bit is a 2.46b in use screenshot and/or a nice winning render from the competition?

Yes there are a collection of images that im going to put up.
Unfortuntly wikipedia is very copy write strict which is making a simple upload into a nightmare. i would ask other people to do it but there are certian pictures that i want to use.

Alright this is really starting to piss me off i keep getting a message about some stupid error
So i would like someone to upload these in the most appropriate place, the octane logo also needs to be on the top/right
Here are the images:

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=OY458EEY

EDIT:

Ok so i was very unhappy/unpleased with the current features structure, it had only 4-7 features with a paragraph of info, the reality is, people want to see a product and what it can give right there and then, they don't want to read, with only 4-7 features there. Please correct any false information or do some article linking to the terminology names.

EG [[F-stop]]

But i really want the structure to stay. If you violently reject to it im sure we can work something out :)

Other Notes:

My life will be complete once i have seen those two pictures and logo on the article. Then the wiki will be complete XD for now ;)

Done...
uploaded the screen shot you posted..
and also the logo , after inserting the following in the link:
"Octane render and its Logo are Registered Trademarks of Refractive Software LTD"
yup..wiki editing is pain in the backside  , i had to reduce the size of the logo *many times* to fit nicely with the screen shot thumbnail...
also created the gallery section, and inserted the image given by you (after giving due credits to Kornel Roland Swoboda for his rendering)...

now i think it needs more good renders (of course after permissions from their respective authors)..
and do you think a screen shot- with 'octane in action' is better than the preview ball..?
maybe someting from the competition entry- showing screen shot may be worth...?

P.S.- i added some internal wiki links to the new version of 'Features Section' you last edited.. This helps in 'wikification', more internal links the better- otherwise wikibots will again tag it..
but i still think the Features Sections should be slightly more 'explanatory' with referenced technical terms (if there are lot of technical terms- they should be referenced, or have internal wiki-links), otherwise in due course of time, it will be again tagged by wikipedia..
cheers :)
