I think it's a problem with Deadline 'cause in Afanasy render manager it works fine by default.
Thanks anyway
OctaneRender™ 3.0 for Houdini™ - production build 3.03.4.0

I have a same error:( build 15.5.480gui2one wrote:Hi Juanjo ,
I just updated to this release ( 3.03.4.0 ) and I have a nasty error message : "Failed to export render passes discrete files"
It worked just fine just before the update ( with version 3.03.2.1) .
I tried with png or exr output, all the same.
Has something changed in the pass rendering system ?
Yes, sorry, It has been fixed for the next build, that I want to release early next week. Do you need this feature just now?Shelest wrote:I have a same error:( build 15.5.480gui2one wrote:Hi Juanjo ,

I have the exact same error on
- Houdini 15.5.565
- Windows 10 x64
- Octane 3.04.03
Cheers

EDIT:
it looks it's a mistake i've done because i was
- trying to write images to a directory that doesn't exist yet
- i have the checkbox 'create intermediate' directories uncheck
Now it looks to work like a charm ... my bad !
