Hello,

There seems to be a big difference in memory between 3.00 beta 1 vs 3.00 alpha 10....please see screenshot.

Yes, Beppe noticed it a few days ago. It will be fixed with the next release.

I have noticed that when looking at a lot of glass ( default specular material ) it renders a lot faster with fake shadows off. I always used fake shadows to speed up render.

Will this work on Mac Pros with AMD cards? Or will the that capability only be available with the first stable release?

Octane does not work with AMD and won't be for a while, i.e. I can't give an ETA when AMD GPUs will be supported.
