Version 2.23.1 - RC4 (Updated on 07.05.15)

I always use in Mixmaterial a Imagetexture with a psd file, and choose to use the alpha channel of the psd, but is only working if I use a separate file as alpha Channel. on 222 is working fine but if I use 223 the alpha channel doesnt work, octane is using the main layer of PSD as alpha channel not the alpha channel in the file.

Thanks. That's my mistake on imagetexture parameters. A confusion is here for float and alpha options. I'm going to fix in one hour. Thanks for warning.aqcoelho wrote:I created this one just like the ones I use.

Check this out:aoktar wrote:I can't see any problem. What's this? I need a sample to see....martincarlson wrote:Also:
Texture slot on Roughness have no impact anymore if it is set to Float? Only if i change Power settings. Gamma have no impact.
If I change to Normal - it works just like before. Bug?
Same thing on Specular texture. Maybe all?
Here's specular set as NORMAL: Specular set as FLOAT: Which means all my old scenes behave strange.

Ahaaa. Missed that mesage. Thanks. Just noticed that in Standalone FLOAT turns up as ALPHA. That explains it.

I'm getting this randomly and have to uncheck and recheck the box for use network rendering. Also, sometimes one client may fail without any errors on a slave (I'm guessing one is failing) and the render just stops and freezes c4d. This has been happening a lot, even in 2.16+. Should I manually pick the port? Will that maybe fix it? It also freezes on the first frame, quite often and I have to restart it. Almost like it's trying to connect to a slave and when it doesn't the frame gets stuck at 99.x%. Also I thought you changed the info at the bottom to be able to show everything? I can't see slave numbers or other info when rendering at 800x600.
By the way, it's also failing a lot when I use the render queue. It may render 50+ frames fine and sometime after I leave for the night it stops and a long line of animations never even start because of it. I'd like to figure this out as it's going to cause me a HUGE problem next week when I'm overloaded with renders.
