Same problem here .. I can't find any upgrade button anywhere? The mainpage of the buy area says "no licenses to upgrade" if you click it. Further down in the shop next to blender plugin, there's only "buy". And in my personal license area etc, there's nothing I can do there.

Hair and fur can't be rendered,

Wrong. It can be rendered if you set the mesh type properly. Trying to use "global" mesh for heavyly scattered geometry is wrong way.

Yeah there is no option to upgrade Blender plugin to 2.x . I only see my C4D license.

OK thanks it works. I was wrong, too excited, and too speed ^^. Nice to sse that we can assign a different material to parent object and hair and fur! How does it work? Does it render strands, or geometry type ??

If you can't wait for a fix from licence suppport, why don't you try demo version?? I'm trying it, and its new features like opensubdiv, displacement, hair rendering ...
