Octane 1.51

Benchmark scene using PMC:

1 Titan 5.59Ms/sec ish
render time 1 min 47 sec

2 Titans 11.2Ms/sec ish
render time 53 sec

and for interest:
Octane 2

Benchmark scene using PMC:

1 Titan 5.25Ms/sec ish
render time 1 min 55 sec

2 Titans 10.53Ms/sec ish
render time 57 sec

cheers
Prodviz,
Thanks for taking the time to run those tests and provide me with additional information. Unfortunately, I haven't yet had the time to try to figure out why each version of Octane post-1.20 takes longer and longer to render it's correspondingly versioned benchmark and how those render times relate to version 1.2 render times. But when I do, I should be able to put the information you've provided most recently to good use.

LightwaveGuru,
Congratulations on having a bevy of 780 Tis yielding a total Titan Equivalency (TE) of 23.74 (1.319 * 18 = 23.74).

Aside: I can imagine that 18x GK 110b based GPUs might do many things for your life and helping you fall in love (or more in love) with Octane might be one of them. Might not the most important thing be giving you more time to spend and to fall more deeply in love with those persons most significant to your well-being. If not, then ignore this "Aside." If it is, then by all means do it and let those person(s) know what impact the acquisition of the GPUs has had on freeing up more of your time. If you allow it to flow that way, those persons will be (or remain) steadfast supporters of your future power GPU acquisitions and might even be the source(s) of future GPU gifts to you (of course, with similar reciprocal expectations) - Just a thought.

Because I have 180+ GPU processers in 16 tweaked/multiOS systems - Character limit prevents detailed stats.

Or, use those GPUs in creating paying productions to more than recover the cost of those GPUs and the cost of a new Lamborghini or two and then the cost of whatever else your heart desires.

Lwguru,
You need to add your rig to your signature!
I'd love to know how you plan to deploy these babies. In 5 boxes or with expanders?
Cheers,

Those renderings of boxes are AWESOME! Octane's brilliance never ceases to amaze me...

One of these days I'll also create great renderings of... boxes.
