Hello Paul.
I really wish I had any more information to give you... I redownloaded the plugin, and again it simply closes right after the splashscreen. I tried installing the 2012 plugin and Revit starts fine, but there is no Add-Ins tab where to access the plugin.

After uninstalling the 2013 plugin Revit behaves normally. Could you provide me with the old TEST plugin? I did use the STABLE one since I started trying.

Sorry for the problem you are experiencing.

Did you try the Revit demo version prior to getting the commercial version? If so, did that work? (Would also be worth uninstalling your current plugin version and trying the latest demo version to test this)
And just confirming....the original version of the plugin ran OK, but the latest version is shutting down Revit?
Which build of Revit are you using?
Which folder is the Revit app installed into?
Are you running 32bit or 64bit?
When you start Revit, just before the termination, are you loading an existing file, or starting a new scene?

I have updated the installers at the top of this thread to resolve Mrfoxjr's problem.

1.20.1.18
- Rectified issue where Octane data could not be saved to the Revit scene on certain version of Revit
- Stopped the viewport being able to be opened when the plugin has not be activated

Pls let me know if you have any issues.

Quick note to say, pls avoid installing Nvidia driver version 331.65. Otoy have reported that there are issues with this release for some installations. 327.23 is the preferred driver release.

I have updated the installers at the top of this thread with the following;

1.20.1.19
- Adding Zoom option to the Viewport
- Changing a node type to an image will automatically open the Image Load dialog
- Image filenames with special characters can now be loaded
- Pressing F1 on the Octane Addin button now takes you to the on-line manual
