Here you go, a quick scene,

I've no idea why camera is moving so lightning fast, couldn't fix it no matter how.
Goldorak, you make sense with setting eye distance to .65 and yet I am missing some point as to why .65 seems way too strong for me and I found comfortable to be something around .1 and renderwindow covering 90% of the screen.

We just got one, but the position tracking is not working yet. It looks like we need a firmware update. Looks like other devs have this issue too.MOSFET wrote:Anyone else order a DK2? Mine should arrive by the end of the week

does it work with Octane standalone version or in the sdk too?
Is it possible for example to port Oculus output to Rhino and Max plugins?

It is in a test build of the standalone right now, with support for DK1. We'll polish the feature with Dk2 support and see if we can make it usable by the plugins too.

The firmware update is included in the SDK folder.Goldorak wrote:We just got one, but the position tracking is not working yet. It looks like we need a firmware update. Looks like other devs have this issue too.MOSFET wrote:Anyone else order a DK2? Mine should arrive by the end of the week
I got my DK2 last week and I'm sad because there is pretty much nothing interesting to try, beside a couple of simple games and demos. If I could use my rift with Octane it would be Christmas in august!

Also, I volunteer to beta-test the Oculus Standalone version!

I have DK2 on order, it should be in this week or this month at least. I am pretty excited to be able to use Octane and OVR! I'm glad the Octane Team is on it! Thank you
