has anyone noticed that octane render does not work in macOS sequoia at the moment?
octane claims there is no render decide (see screenshot).

Octane isn't officially supported yet, nor is Sequoia officially released, worldwide ("Coming this fall"). Even the URL https://www.apple.com/macos defaults to Sonoma.
When it will be, this page will be updated accordingly.

thank you for your response. i understand that sequoia isn’t officially released yet, and that octane render might not be fully supported at this stage. my intention was to give a heads-up to the developers and the community, just in case others were encountering the same issue.
i appreciate the insights, but i think it’s important to share experiences during beta stages as they can help improve the final release. hopefully, this will be resolved once sequoia is officially supported.

Typically, one could expect, with every major OS releases, an associated supported (even a premature) software update version, accordingly with the OS update (as well as GPU new hardware/driver, such as with Nvidia GPUs or new M-series on the Apple side). This is where and when beta testing truly occurs, especially when the developers themselves are (sporadically) working, in advance, on a beta dev-build.

Ok, I have updated the previous post with the public link.
About devices panel, weird, it should be like this: Please close c4d, then delete the oct.dat file at the following path, the c4doctane preferences will be reset to default, and a new oct.dat file will be created on next c4d start:
/Users/USERNAME/Library/Preferences/Maxon/Maxon Cinema 4D R2X_RANDOM_CODE/prefs/oct.dat
Note that the Library folder is an hidden folder so you need to press OPTION/ALT on your keyboard, then from the Finder menu, choose Go/Library and locate the Maxon folder..
