Does it happen on any scene you try to load? Does it happen when you try to render a material on the material ball?

it happens on any scene and/or any material with empty scene.

Actually cuda-enabled applications works (for example OptiX and CUDA_SDK demos runs ok)

If you go to preferences → CUDA Devices, what are the numbers shown under Device Memory Usage for your graphics cards? And which are used for rendering?

GTX570, because Quadro FX 5500 not CUDA-capable.
all data (ram size, cores qty ) seems correct
Sometimes octane renders 1 st pass and stops with CUDA error.

Also, shows 0 Tris in status line

PS. Oops. when i starting up empty scene - Memory bar in Prefs show 1400 meg (ram size of GTX570), but when i try to render anything (material ball, or just move environment texture color slider) - ram shows just 57meg, and gives error

What is your NVidia driver version? Here it works on CentOS 5.5 with driver version 290.10.

Note that if you update the driver, you then need to reinstall the CUDA toolkit.
