Anyway, just for my information, why it has been removed? Deprecated?
yes. what do you want to obtain?
I wanted to use a gradient in opacity of hair. But, as it's not possible, i've used a spline in the thickness. I think the result is event better in this case. Then everything is fine.
Thanks for your fast answers. :)

About function "Save C4D Scene With Assets" from Octane dialog > Menu Files, it seems to be broken. It seems to only save assets that aren't in preferences Path, even if the Octane Texture Manager find all assets. My system is in French but my C4D R17 Studio is in English, maybe it's an explanation...
Anyway, the standard C4D "Save Project with Assets" seems to work fine even with Octane materials (but i have no .ies light in my actual project then the test isn't fully complete).

It comes from old versions. I'll remove it. Thanks for report. That's strange that nobody report it properly.
EDIT: I've checked that for texture from PATHS. It seems like working. can you check again?

Very curious. It seems to work fine on my Desktop but not my Laptop...
Sorry for the wrong information. I need to investigate my own systems. :?

Hi,

If I export a scene to an .ocs or .orbx, the camera node is gone (see screenshots). Do I something wrong?
I am on OS X, R17, Standalone 3.03.2b and Plugin 0.03.2-R4.

Hi David_S,
you can select multiple camera in c4d and export them in alembic separately from c4d export menu with this settings:

then, you have to change the scale from meters to centimeters within Standalone by clicking on the Edit setting button of the imported alembic node:

Ciao Beppe, that seems to work. Thanks.
So it is currently the only way to export Cinemas camera position and settings?

No. That's an old command and it's ignored for some time. You can use animated orbx export OR wait for next build. I may try to fix.
