Hey Aoktar.
Im using Rednerpasses and I am wondering if I am doing a mistake with my Z-depth-pass. If you look at the image below you see, that the leaves of the trees don't show the alpha. The depth shows the pure geometry. Is this an expected behaviour or am i missing something?

It seems that render region renders different samples than whole frame in live view.
Render region is much cleaner than the whole frame with the same max samples.
Or is there a setting I am missing?

yes, there is a relationship like that: has a ratio of amount of rendered pixels. In picture viewer, i'm using this ratio to convert maxsamples to new values to matchup same noise levels.used2bgordy wrote:It seems that render region renders different samples than whole frame in live view.

So,
How can I match the maxsample count quality of the render region with the regular render, because I need the same result on the final render.

That's the thing that i try to explain. No need to do anything. It will change the value for this.used2bgordy wrote:So,
