How to Network Rendering ?
(Limited 12 GPU - Including Master Station)
0. Master (C4D, Not Standalone. No Need Standalone)
Check YOUR IP Address (This is Octane Master IP)
1. Slave
Install octane standalone
2. Slave
Run Command Prompt(Run As Administrator)
Change Dir c:\program files\OTOY\OctaneRender 2.00\
Run Command
octane_slave --net-master-port 21000 --net-master-address Your_IP
(ex : octane_slave --net-master-port 21000 --net-master-address 192.168.0.24)
Auto Change Daemon Scan Range 192.168.0.1 ~ 192.168.0.254
3. Master
Run C4D. Open Live Viewer. Check Menu > Updates > Network Rendering
ReRun C4D. That's IT...

Just wanted to say Thanks to Aoktar / Ahmet for his work and also the support team for their quick response. Because I bought the 2.0 upgrade two days ago but did not get a new password, contacted the support that night and got one yesterday already. So I just got back home from work a few hours ago and was able to run first tests with 2.0

Hair render.. sorry maybe i missed the topic but i can't render Hair shader on XParticles Trail.... is it possible or does it only work on the Hair object only ...
By the way everything's working fine here on Mac OSX Maverick with an Nvidia 680 mac edition... the displacement is simply amazing Well done and congratulation !!!!

hm shouldnt there be a link to the 2.0 WINDOWS version, too in the first post?

This does work, you need to make a hair object >> add hair to child of the xp trail object.
