If it can help, I have this issue for several builds that some passes are not saved when I use a path like on your screenshot (renders/$prj/$prj). Sometimes it works, somtimes not.
But passes are always well saved if I use the full path.(Y:\WORK\xxx\renders\$prj\$prj)

The "Geometry check" option when rendering in Live viewer is oversensitive. It restarts render without any reason. If a tag or object is being selected in Object Manages it immediately restarts render. It should do this when there is a change in geometry, transform change, material or tag edit etc.

edit. It even restarts when I click on layer names in material manager

It's not like that. There are several effectors, etc. in C4D which are causing update messages. It happens even you click somewhere in viewport or managers. You can check it via default Renderer in viewport. I have many times answered this kind of questions.

Clicking an object in manager should no trigger an update, don't you agree?
If you are aware of the issue why it is not resolved? This is quite irritating. In Blender it does not happen.

J.C., Ahmet stated that Cinema 4D causes many of these updates, and this is out of his control. This is a known issue regarding Cinema 4D, unfortunately. No one is disagreeing that the updating is undesirable. There is only so much that he can do...

It's not solvable. Blender is not Cinema 4D. I don't know how Blender designed and works internally, but C4D has own handicaps to fight!
In C4D, many generator Objects are having virtual Cache and Deform Cache which are generated unvisibly when a deformer assigned. Some are getting re-generated on every small interaction. C4D's dirty flags are not reliable in the cases and object pointers are getting changed. There are not a really working way to know objects are not updated or updated. I spent years to find ways to make it better, it's my best. Tell me if you know better ways to do it superior.

baghbanikm wrote:why in this version , ican't render finally and don't save my Passes in EXR(octane)
always my render stuck in passes render

i have had this when using custom AOV's / comping in octane, i originally thought it was a deadline issue but turning off "show passes" when doing the final render seems to fix this issue, using 2022.1.1-r4

On my scenes I've narrowed the issue to some objects that were causing the issue:
1. Skin modifier
2. IK tag
3. Two Sky objects were present. When OctaneSky was visible and OctaneDayLight was not visible for rendering it caused the restarts.

If I find more I'll let you know.

Another effector that is very easy to track. Octane area light. When it is present it causes restarts when clicking objects in Object manager. When the light is disabled it does not restart.
