How did you get the clients to work? In R14 netrender one needs C4D pluign *plus* full Octane standalone per client. Will there be a different solution? I saw a typical demo overlay in some pictures here.

it's done very easy and i did in first try. Only need a R15. I keep open a Cinema4d on client and server found it. you haven't to copy textures, C4D does it for you.dinf wrote:How did you get the clients to work? A note about team render for when this build or final build becomes available. It works amazingly great. However, if you are using HOT4D, or TurbulenceFD (with the workaround) on the host machine, Team render will not work. I'm sure there are other plugins that will crash it. One thing i have noticed about these two particular plugins, is that they require files to be in the root C4D folder. Not sure if that is the issue. This only seems to be an issue with the host computer. The render nodes seem to not be affected.
These plugins are not an issue if you are rendering on just one machine (not Team render)
Pumping out a 2k sequence right now on two PC's with 4 Titans each. TR is flying through it.

Are there planned special priced client packages therefore in the future, like '5 TR clients for 150' or something like that?
