Hey! This release cleared up the banding in my fabric texture. WooHOO!

And fine detail like scratches on a surface no longer have the jaggies...Very fine detail and smooth! Just beautiful!

This release is a great step in the right direction! thanks Team! Version 1.10 had some bugs in the direct lighting that was hard on our product rendering workflow... now it's perfect!

Hi, Yes, I had a bit more time to experiment, and want to thank Otoy Team. Great work on this release !
French Blender user - CPU : intel Quad QX9650 at 3GHz - 8GB of RAM - Windows 7 Pro 64 bits. Display GPU : GeForce GTX 480 (2 Samsung 2443BW-1920x1600 monitors). External GPUs : two EVGA GTX 580 3GB in a Cubix GPU-Xpander Pro 2. NVidia Driver : 368.22.

Octane 1.11 is freezing when i load a Material from the Database and connect.
nvidia driver 314.07 , 4 gpus 2* 580, 1 * 590
Nvidia Titan, Nvidia 580, Nvidia 590 on evga dual 5690 48 gb Ram

Yes, it's gone. More generally we have dropped support for using textures as volume properties (scattering, absorption and volume emission). We have done so to more efficiently support intersecting volumes.
