Hey! This release cleared up the banding in my fabric texture. WooHOO!
And fine detail like scratches on a surface no longer have the jaggies...Very fine detail and smooth! Just beautiful!

This release is a great step in the right direction! thanks Team! Version 1.10 had some bugs in the direct lighting that was hard on our product rendering workflow... now it's perfect!

Octane 1.11 is freezing when i load a Material from the Database and connect.

Yes, it's gone. More generally we have dropped support for using textures as volume properties (scattering, absorption and volume emission). We have done so to more efficiently support intersecting volumes.face wrote:Hm, is the raystep value in the scatter node gone?
