again I am asking regarding LiveDB crashes. Since others had the same issue I followed your advice and deleted the respective folder that contains the liveDB data. But Cinema still crashes when opening the MISC category in Materials.
Any idea?

New bug report attached.
i have spent my ideas. Bugreports doesn't show any good info. Impossible to know what happens. What's the version of standalone, is it same with plugin? Have you checked in standalone the livedb? Do you see any problem on thumbnails of materials?
No problems with standalone. Its version 2.16 therefore in sync with plugin. Even no problems with thumbnails in standalone. In C4D thumbnails of other categories are fine, only MISC immediately crashes before thumbnails could be loaded.

A suggestion:
The newer versions have had the tool bar with render, stop, options etc... attached to the live viewer.
while this is nice for some things, it does not allow me to slide the live viewer window really small if I have it next to my viewport.
it also does not allow me to bring up a new live viewer if I am currently rendering something, thus not allowing me to use the materials and object drop down menus.

Missed that one, but I would still suggest the ability to detach the dialog from the live viewer like it used to be.(unless i totally missed how to do that) Not that big of a deal but does allow to make the live viewer small. Thanks Aoktar!

does this mean that you don't understand my message? Open octane dialog with menu+icons, call octane render from this dialog. Switch off icons/menu of live viewer. That's all.

Hey Aoktar, can we get the Ray epsilon to handle smaller values? even at its default value 0.0001 when you set it to that it will show 0 instead of the decimal. I would like to be able to have at least 5 decimals for that specific box.

Also, any news on 2.20?

Thanks.

if you enter ex. 0.00001, it will handle but will no show as you enter. So it's working with lower values. But I couldn't find a way to show it. For 2.20, i have to break a little to work on c4d plugin at the time. But if anyone need it urgently just drop me a pm

Moving the slider will update the numbers correctly. Is there no way to mimic that update process for the numbers? And in turn the sliders should update when numbers are typed in.

sliders are custom gui from scratch. I think no way with default number fields. I have spent too much weeks for this kind of stuffs without any succes. If you know a plugin which can use higher precision, please let me know.

EDIT: I may have a way to do. will see.

All plugins I use have sliders that update when a value is typed, except Octane.
