Is the render region animatable?

Apologies if this has already been discussed but.. what would be really awesome is 'patch' F9 rendering. That is to say, limited region rendering over the top of a previous render. Perfect if you want to alter only a portion of the scene without the need to render the entire scene.

New 2.0 feature: The amazing Octane 2.0 network rendering feature is now available in the Lightwave plugin. You can have any number of render slaves working on the same image, even in the IPR. All using only TCP/IP communications, you don't need to share folders. Configure the GPUs render farm is really easy.

Bloody good stuff!
That's one way to reduce the local heat from several GPUs as well.

Lots of very nice features for release 2.0!
Do you know if It will suport external GPu through PCI-E GPU splitter or PCIe 4-Way Splitter ?

hi
justed wanted some infos about this feature: is it possible (or is it planned ) to define non-squared zone: hand-draw selection with ajustable feather diameter, like the excellent photshop-selection-system, sothat the refining zone would be less visible ?

Currently Octane only supports rectangle region zone.
