radiance lately posted about something in the pipe, regarding at least studio...
The obvious is that which is never seen until someone expresses it simply

Studio and Carrara both have a plugin system, but Bryce and Hexagon do not at this time. There might be some work on Hexagon 3 going on, but Daz3D have said in the past that changing Hexagon's architecture would take a lot of work to implement a plugin system, though there was a lot of community interest when they asked for everyone's opinion on it.

I would like to develop a plugin for Houdini just like I am doing for several other unbiased render engines. Radiance reach out to me so I can further discuss with you.

Thanks

Contact me if you want a Houdini plugin developed. I am working on a plugin for several packages and have Octane on my list. However, if no one reaches out to me to provide some of the communications I need then obviously it's worth much of my time. Radiance I have already reached out to you so either get in touch with me or have someone touch based with me. So far there is a lack of solid Houdini support. As such I have been working on plugins for Indigo, LuxRender (open source), Arion, and would like to shift my focus to Octane provided some communications is forthcoming so I can get my hands on the SDK.

I would certainly like it if a plug-in for MoI could be in the near future. Octane does already work well with MoI export (obj) files.
I think both programs are great and could make a great combo.
cheers,
