Hi, thank you so much for this release!
I have a light linking issue: one of my two lights is not supposed to be seen in the object (light pass ID 3, unchecked in the octane tag). It works well when it's the only light on, but as soon as I turn on some other light, the reflection shows up on my object. It wasn't the case on the last 2020 version.
Simplified project attached.
[EDIT] Seems like i can't send you the file, here it is: https://we.tl/t-GvvgsioucL
Cinema4D version 2021.1-(R7) (Obsolete) 17.12.2021

Didn't you checked RC builds of 2021? There is some changes since 2020 versions. And changes are mentioned in standalone topic. Things are not plugin based.Greggers wrote:I have an issue with the daylight system been too warm as mentioned in the previous post.

I found out why
exr (octane) files are not displayed in Chinese paths
Can this be fixed quickly?

I cannot see any scattering on textures. But I see an unexpected color change with trasnmission channel. Are you talking about this in reality?AaronWestwood wrote:Congrats on the release! Few notes:
- The texture/scattering bug I mentioned in the previous thread still persists. The project I attached there should highlight this on both the 2020 and 2021 versions (ive attached it here again, it's set on a problematic frame but moving the camera will fix this).
- All daylight rigs are dialed WAY too warm (and red) in comparison to the 2020 versions and stay warm despite adjustments, the 2020 versions are accurate here but in 2021 we cant really use them like this. Find reference image and project attached. Project is just using the Octane default rig but the 3 other rigs also display this color mismatch (although you cant tint them, they are still too warm).
Looking forward to have these sorted before professional use

Hi, great work as always!
When saving multi-layered EXRs some filenames have a space between them, such as "Diffuse filter". This causes problems in some applications, namely Houdini.
Could there be an implementation to remove these spaces or have a rename function?
Juanjo had a fix for this inside of houdini: viewtopic.php?f=101&t=62309&start=10
Would be great to have this in c4d aswell.
Thanks

Thanks for the work Ahmet!
Is it possible to have custom AOV names actually go into file names?
I mean - it is possible to enter a name in each AOV node, be it cryptomatte, object id, etc. but that does nothing really, as the files are named like before with built-in pass suffixes, like cm-mnn, ocol...
Cheers!
