2 3080s or 1 3090, which config is better for Octane?

Another important thing to consider is how many ports you need. Personally, I’ve got three monitors, a TV, and a VR headset. (5 ports for me)

The 3090 takes up 3 slots but only has 4 ports. (Though I have noticed some of the third party cards seem to squeeze in a fifth). 2 FE 3080s would give you 8 ports. (I’m not confident I could squeeze two third party 3080s into my machine with their oversized fan cases... )

Given the low stock available for the 30 cards, we probably will find out more about that 20gb version price before we can even buy a single 3080!
