Can't detect my GPU's

Actually, I can not use Octane 3.08.0.9 in Lightwave 2015 or 2018.

I get the exact same error when trying to use the latest Octane build in either version of Lightwave.

The only version of Octane I can use is Octane_3.06.0.5_LightWave_2015.3_vr_Win64

So, I still need help!

But what NVIDIA drivers version do you have installed on your system? Right-click on the desktop and open the NVIDIA control panel. In it, you have a system information tool to check the current drivers version.

I've just updated my old laptop with the latest ones available, and the current 3.08.0.9 plugin seems to work fine with them.

Well, yes, these drivers are old. You need to update them to work with Octane 3.08 ...

I don't understand Juanjgon. I downloaded the 'latest version' from NVIDIA last week, right before I made this post.

Yes good sir they were installed. Maybe I took the wrong link, because I can now see that what I downloaded was an old version, I now have the version of NVIDIA drivers that you do.

I will try this first thing in the morning - thank you for all your help and patience with me on this one

Hehe, yeah, I supposed that you have installed it, but well, really I could not understand why you had an old version

The latest drivers are 391.35, so the file should be something like that: 391.35-win10-64bit-international-whql.exe
