It's for this case. There's a problem as try to explain, see my words. Why don't use uvw scaling from texture tag?sagun wrote:"Solution is that don't use Texture Projection in imagetexture"
How's is this a solution ? I need the texture to appear as the object scales up but not squeezes out as you can see in the sample file. I have to use world space coordinates for this purpose. How can I achieve the same effect without using Texture Projection node ???
Texture Projection Node acting weird on Opacity Channel :(

Hi Aoktar, Sorry I didnt notice your message earlier. Now that I just noticed, but I still can't understand what you meant. Could you please please make a sample file for this to illustrate ?aoktar wrote:It's for this case. There's a problem as try to explain, see my words. Why don't use uvw scaling from texture tag?
Did you mean to counter UV scaling to give it a impression of revealing instead of squeezing out ? If so, I would say this is very impractical sadly. But if it's easy workflow for you, then it would be easy for all of us.
anyway, I am expecting to have opacity channel behave like diffuse or any other channel in future update if possible. Because this is the only way anyone would approach in any 3d packages I believe. Can I ask you why it's behaving correctly in plane and not in cube ?
I cannot help much on thosedays because of private works. But i adviced to don't use two ways scaling in this particular case(texture in opacity). It's propably a bug on plugin and i'll have to check it asap.sagun wrote:Hi Aoktar, Sorry I didnt notice your message earlier. Now that I just noticed, but I still can't understand what you meant.
