In my current home PC I have asus x99-deluxe and it's been amazing all the time, from the performance to the software, so it's the brand I trust now (I also have asus GPU and monitor). Why do you think it might be a problem?
I had 5 asus ws mobo out of which 3 RMAed, 1 dead, 1 faulty without warranty. Currently I am on p8p67ws and it works only on my custom bios settings. Asus gives you no help, no support, no response,...

Gotta tell you, that's really strange since my every email in asus tech support was answered really quickly and was actually helpful. Anyway there is not much to choose from, I think that I wont buy gigabyte ever again, I'm not familiar with asrock, MSI looks more like gaming, and there is just no EVGA\Intel mobo that suits my needs.

They will email you but when it comes to true support there comes no solution. I will not try to convince you to any brand but since I moved to server grade components I have no reboots, resets, freezes... Look at Tutor post what he experienced with Asus - this is exactly my story.

I'm not fan of asus and not conservative person :D So if you could offer something I would gladly take a look.
About that post, any direction where I can find it?

I personally see smicha's GPU-render-beast-workstation part choices and recommendations as holy gospel... Please know that he and Tutor are, without any doubt, among the very highest authorities on planet Earth in regard to this shite. If he says get an ASRock mobo and an EVGA/SuperFlower PSU, get them.

If I were building anew today, I would most certainly get Core X9, ASRock WS mobo, and EVGA SuperNOVA 1600 T2.

That's a strong point! I never doubted their authority and I actually checked smicha's specs, but I dont need this one exactly cause it's for 2 CPU's, I also checked asrock 2011-3 workstation MB line and it seems that they're all for xeons, and I'm going for core i7, please correct me if I wrong. Or maybe should I go for xeon?
UPD. Yeah, I'm wrong.

Actually we're gonna build another 2-cpu workstation for houdini and simulations, and it seems that shicha's asrock mobo will be the choice for that one.

Asrock x99 ws e is EOL. Please compare specs and prices of E51650v4 and 6900k....
