Ah, I think I remember that.

Anyway, just found out I'm on the list to get it to test :) So looking forward to seeing if it works as shown in the video

Great news. Seems to be a major update. Looking forward to this.

Also, there will be Octane Render support.

Free update for current license owners.

This is not a bad news at all.

As I said before, the software looks great, but the problem is that they are not trustworthy when it comes to release dates.

True.

But update is free and I am good with the current state of the software as well. It doesn't work as well as I hoped, crashes quite often, but it does the basics such as normal painting and converts the maps I need in no time.
It wouldn't bother me if it comes out about the same time as Octane V3.

I just model the assets in the mean time.

I'm going to remain optimistic :)

This is a good choice when there's really nothing to loose and only something to gain. :)

A very quick play. Not trying much. A simple bit of geometry, exported with a UV. Quixel baked all the maps it needed, and I spent 10 minutes doing this to it. Will need to find the time to do a good object :)

Pretty awesome,

OTOY Devs; is this kind of live map creation possible within octane 3 using the UX changes and/or Lua?
